No Motivation = No Success
No Motivation = No Success
Is effectively the same as saying,
1 = 1
It’s a simple comparison and besides being direct, it is 101% accurate.
Let me tell you a little bit more about what I actually mean:
1. Motivation = Passion
If you have motivation, then you have passion and if you have passion, then you have motivation.
There’s no way in this world that you can succeed without motivation/passion. When you’re working, if you’re motivated enough, you can make things happen quicker, easier and more efficiently. There’s nothing more beautiful in this life than doing things we actually enjoy, and when we enjoy something we put more effort of ours into it, we make more passion blossom out of every single thing we do because we simply love it!
Call it motivation, or call it passion, one will always lead to the other, because they’re twins.
2. Warning: Motivation is contagious!
Now here’s what’s so unique about motivation, it is more contagious than diseases!
Now notice on how I said “Warning” on the headline. Yes, motivation can be very contagious because obviously a motivated person can quickly provide the rest of the people around him/her a boost of energy, positive vibes and more importantly a certain sense of insurance without even noticing that he/she is actually doing it.
And you want to know what’s so amazing about this? As soon as more people get connected in this stream of motivation, those people who got motivated by someone else, will unconsciously motivate someone else, and without even noticing you could have created a cycle of endless motivation because everyone around is bringing the positivity and the passion out!
However, this still doesn’t explain why I mentioned motivation as a warning. That’s because although motivation can bring great changes amongst us, the lack of it will also affect people in an opposite way. Lack of motivation may make it more difficult for you and for others to actual get some proper work done, if any at all.
I’m not trying to say that the lack of motivation would have the same amount of impact (on a negative way) that motivation would (on a positive way). Lack of motivation won’t create a snowball of negativity, but it certainly won’t create a snowball of positivity either.
3. Without motivation, you won’t overcome any obstacle in your life
Now, this is how things really are, if you have no motivation you won’t overcome anything in your life and let me tell you why. If you have no motivation, when obstacles come your way, you will only try to overcome it once, and afterwards you’ll give up.
Actually being more reasonable, if you don’t have motivation and an obstacle comes down your way, you won’t even give it one attempt on trying to overcome it, as soon as an obstacle comes your way, you’ll immediately give up.
It’s the same thing as wanting to go and drive to the cinema, and the road is closed and you simply go back home.
If you have motivation, you may struggle with obstacles but if you keep trying and never give up you’ll eventually succeed!
The interesting part here is you either have motivation or you don’t, motivation is a black or white answer, there’s no “grey” or in this case no “half-motivated”.
It may sometimes come as a temporary feeling, and that is completely fine, sometimes you have got to ride the waves that come in front of you.
4. Is motivation the one formula to success? Is motivation the key to success?
Let me just brake it to you like this, there is absolutely no one-hand formula to success!
Secondly, no, motivation is not the key to success, motivation is a key to success! Get the difference?
What this means is, having motivation within you does not necessarily mean that you’re going to be successful, there are still lots of other factors behind success, such as hard work, and so on and so forth.
However having motivation, does mean you’re one little step closer to being successful.
And as far as I’m concerned, one little step closer is way better than not close at all.
With that said, motivation comes down to one single question:
How bad do you want it?
